Torino Olympic Region with Sestriere and Sauze d'Oulx, Italy

Mountain Layout — Snowboarding (2008/09 prices)

There are five snowparks in Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, Bardonecchia/Melezet and Claviere.

The Snow Park Sestriere is accessible from the Garnel Seggiovia and is divided into an easy and an expert zone. It has rails, a box, a funbox, kickers, a wall and a chill zone with music. A special daily ski pass costs €15.

The Moon Light Park Claviere is served by Cokes Seggiovia. It has rails that increase in difficulty the further you progress into the park. It also has two lines of jumps and kicks which are suitable for a variety of levels of boarders.

The Olympic SnowPark in Bardonecchia/Melezet was the site of the Snowboard Olympic Site of Gicohi Turin 2006. The park features the Olympic Half Pipe which is often used by international athletes for training as well as two different ability level boardercrosses.

Snow Park Sansicario, which is managed by the local ski school, is only 200 meters from the commercial center of San Sicario Alto. It's served by the Baby Seggiovia and is divided into three lines of jumps of vairous difficulty, one funbox and various types of rails. It's cose €10 for a preview day.

Snow Park Sportinia is accessible from Sauze d'Oulx by taking the Prariond Seggiovia. The snowpark is primarily designed for beginners, but does have a few expert structures.
