Après-Ski / Nightlife
In Arc 1800, the ski instructors head to Bar Le Gabotte (0479 07 41 86) in the center of Le Charvet, as does the majority of the English-speakers when the lifts shut down. The overflow congregates in Bar le Thuria (0479 07 40 86) across the square. Also try the small Arc Café (0614 73 44 56), Stop in at Le J.O. Live Rock Café (0479 07 40 42) for live music and dancing starting at 10:30 every night.
In the Les Villards section of Arc 1800, the best après-ski is in LAmbiente (0479 07 49 51) and in the Jungle Café (0479 07 19 62) with its funky jungle decor and pumping beats. Also try the Be 4 Café..
There are discos in Arcs 2000, 1600, and 1800. They all follow the French disco formula: drinks in the €12.50 range and opening times around midnight, closing about four in the morning. If you have insomnia, try IGLOO IGLOO (479 41 43 43) in the basement of Hotel du Golf in Arc 1800. For live music and dancing, make sure you take a look at the Red Hot Saloon (479 07 74 52) to see who is performing when. Apokalypse (479 07 43 77) is the disco in the Arc 1800 Les Villards section. If you are staying in Arc 2000, disco K.L.92 (479 07 34 39) normally is the place of choice for visitors of all ages. Also at Arc 2000, El Latino Loco (479 07 79 49) is a bar/hangout that is open day and night.
At Arc 1950 head to Les Belles Pintes for a good Irish pub and to Bachal in Luigis for dancing.
