Lodging
The best time to ski Klosters is during one of its special organized Ski Weeks. These weeks are normally held in early December, the last three weeks of January through the first week of February, and late March through April. Contact the tourist office for the special rates, which include lift tickets together with room and board.
Rates based on per person, double occupancy with half-pension in February are €€€€125+; €€€75€124; €less than €75.
The Hotel Alpina (081-4102424, fax 081-4102425; €€€) has a great location, one of the best restaurants in town, indoor pool, nice staff, and reservations can be made through Best Western.

Perhaps the most traditional hotel is the Chesa Grischuna (081-4222222, fax 081-4222225; €€€; right). It is part of the Romantic Hotel chain, but though it has ambiance, the rooms are small and there is no pool.
The Walserhof (081-4102929; €€€) rounds out the top tier of Klosters hotels and restuarants. It is a Relais and Chateau property and a member of the Grand Tables. The hotel restaurant is exceptional.
At the upper end of the scale is the four-star Hotel Pardenn (081-4232020, fax 081-4232021; €€€+). A hike from the ski shuttlebus and 10 minutes walk from town. It has plenty of five-star comfortpool, sauna and fitness room.
The Sunstar Albeina (081-4232100; fax 081-4232121; €€; photo right) is recommended by Michelin and is a bit less expensive than the Pardenn. Other recommended hotels are the Steinbock (081-4224545; €€) and Silveretta Park (081-4233435; €€€) only a short walk from the lifts.
The tiny, 11-room Hotel Rustico (081-4221212; fax 081-4225355; €€€€€) is only steps from the lifts and downtown. It gets rave reviews from locals and tourist press for meals and comfort.
Sporthotel Kurhaus (081-4224441; fax 081-4224609; €€€) with 30 rooms is highly recommended for both meals and rooms.
The Cresta (081-4232600; fax 081-4232610; €€+) also has a very good restaurant.
Sonne (081-4221349; €), a traditional B&B, is inexpensive and convenient.
The less expensive lodging is in Klosters-Dorf, which is near the lifts for the Madrisa area but a hike, train ride or shuttlebus ride from the Parsenn lifts. Try Jost (081-4223344; €), Büel (081-4222669; €) and Casa Erla (081-3225275; €; photo below), a group of condos with kitchenettes for only €34 a night per person.
Apartments
Apartments are normally rented out for a mini-mum of one week, Saturday to Saturday. In the Christmas holiday season a two-week minimum rental is required.

Youll get an immediate response from apartment owners with a choice of apartments and prices. Select the apartment you want and return their forms.
Normally, linen and kitchen utensils are provided, while extras, such as swimming pool, sauna, TV or room phone all add to the cost. Standard units rent for €22 to €39 per person a night.
