Lessons (2008/09 prices)

The Klosters ski and snowboarding school is divided into six levels, and also offers special children’s courses and cross-country instruction. Classes meet either on the Madrisa or near the Gotschna. Check with the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Klosters (081-4102828) for lesson times. There is the Ski and Snowboard School Saas in Klosters Dorf (081-4202233). Bananas Swiss Snowboard School Klosters offers extreme snowboarding, freestyle and racing lessons (081-4226660). Nordic Ski School (081-4221040) offers cross-country skiing lessons. These prices are for the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Klosters.

These are the high/low prices. Private lessons for one to two skiers or boarders cost €50–€64 for one hour lesson; €157–€170 for two-and-a-half hours in the morning; €143–€157 for two-and-a-half hours in the afternoon; and €223–€240 for a full day (four-and-a-half hours). There is an additional fee of €13 for each extra skier or boarder per half day and €20 for each extra skier or boarder per full day.

Group lessons are for full day course only and cost €170 for a three-day course and €53 for each addtional day. Lessons for a group of 4–8 snowboarders cost the same as skiing.
