Lessons (2008/09 prices)

Ischgl has the largest ski school. Both Galtür and Ischgl teach the Austrian method.

The following prices are for the Schneesport-Akademie Ischgl (05444 5257 or 5404, fax 05444 5752).

Private lessons:
Course times: 09.30am - 11.00am or 1.30pm - 3.00pm
90 minutes: € 110
each additional person: € 25

Course times: 9.30am - 12.30pm or 11.15am - 2.15pm
3 hours: € 185
each additional person: €30

Course times: 9.30am - 12.00pm and 1.00pm - 3.00pm
4.5 hours: € 230
each additional person: €35

Silvretta Galtür Ski and Snowboard School prices (05443 85 65 or 0664 514 63 41, fax: 05443 85 65):
Private lessons for one hour cost €55;each additional person is €15. A full day (4 hours; Sunday–Tuesday) is €180. Each additional skier costing €19 apiece per day.

Group lessons for skiing and snowboarding for one day are €50; two days, €90; three days, €123; five days €156. Group lessons for a half day are €36; two half days, €69; three half days, €97; five half days €120.

Group lessons for cross-country skiing for three half days (2 hours per day) cost €95.
