Lessons (2008/09 prices)

Flaine excels in ski instruction. There are two schools here: the French Ski School (450 90 81 00) and Ski Ecole International (450 90 84 41). Prices between the two are about the same.

Private lessons cost €39 for one hour for one or two skiers, but if you take a private lesson during group lesson times it costs €56. A full day private lesson (six hours) costs €280.

Group lessons: The ESF guarantees a limit of not more than 9 people. Group lesson prices for six days of instruction (three hours per day) are €138 for adults; €118 for children age 3–11. Five days of instruction (three hours per day) are €125 for adults; €110 for children age 3–11.
