The following are the prices for The Swiss Ski School. They are comparable to the prices of the other ski schools in Arosa.

The Swiss Ski School in Arosa (081-3787500; fax 081-3771996) has more than 100 qualified instructors, most of whom speak English. The ski school has special courses for children, deep-snow skiers, snow-boarders and telemarkers. The also organize other events, including torchlight descents ac-companied by fireworks, descents by full moon and ski races.

Private lessons for skiing, snowboarding and telemarking are for one to three people. For an hour lesson: CHF80 per person. Two-hour lessons are offered morning, lunch and afternoon. Morning lessons from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. cost CHF170. Lunch time lessons from noon to 2 p.m. cost CHF155. Afternoon lessons from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. cost CHF140. A full day (six hours including an hour lunch break): CHF390. Each additional person up to a group of six people is CHF20.

Group skiing lessons (two hours) for adults take place in the morning from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m and in the afternoon from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. They take place in the morning from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m and in the afternoon from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.. Single lessons cost CHF55; CHF155 for three lessons; CHF245 for five lessons. Group snowboarding lessons for adults take place in the morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m and cost the same ask skiing lessons.

Touring and off-piste skiing are also available.. The larger the group, the less the price is per person. Contact the ski school for further details.
